Privacy Policy

DU ProfessorView is a Chrome extension that shows Rate My Professors ratings next to instructor names on Drexel University course pages. This policy describes exactly what data it handles.
What the extension sends
Only instructor names found on the Drexel Term Master Schedule and Banner registration pages you visit. To look up ratings, those names are sent to:
- the extension's own rating cache service, hosted on Cloudflare Workers
(
drexel-rmp-worker.mlhv.workers.dev), which looks up names it hasn't cached yet on ratemyprofessors.com, and - ratemyprofessors.com directly, only when the cache service can't be reached.
What the extension does not collect
- Your Drexel username, password, or any login information
- Your name, email, student ID, or any other identity information
- Your courses, schedule, grades, or registration activity
- Your browsing history or activity on any other website
There are no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking. No data is sold or shared with anyone for any other purpose.
What is stored
- On your device: rating results are saved in your browser's extension storage so repeat lookups are fast. They are refreshed after about 24 hours; older copies are kept only as a fallback for when a lookup fails. Removing the extension deletes all of them.
- In the cache service: instructor name → rating results are stored for 1–7 days. These records contain no information about you. Cloudflare's standard infrastructure request logging applies to the service (see Cloudflare's privacy policy).
Changes
If the extension ever handles new data, this page will be updated before that version is released, and the effective date above will change.
